 On Saturday, 8 October, PPCTU volunteers will collect macro-invertebrate (bug) samples from Severy Creek and Bear Creek on the slopes of Pikes Peak, an annual event coordinated through the Colorado River Watch program. Again this year, we will be sampling both creeks, so we will need good crew of volunteers. We will start at the Bear Creek location at 9:00 am on Saturday, 8 October. After collecting and processing samples at Bear Creek, we will have lunch at Rudy's (our treat) and head up to Severy Creek. We should be able to wrap up by 3 pm or so.
