This is followed by a Program.

The Program for February is: Fishing the Yellowstone!

My name is Bill Kirk, I currently guide and teach fly tying and fly fishing classes for The Peak Fly Shop in Colorado Springs, Co. I have also been a volunteer with project Healing Waters program for the past 11 years. As a volunteer with the program, I have served as the fly tying lead, assistant trip lead, fly tying mentor, and fly fishing mentor. I have also given seminars for fly fishing, fly tying, and entomology.
I started my fishing adventures in a rural farming community in central Missouri with a can of worms and a Zebco fishing pole. I moved on to fly fishing in farm ponds, lakes and streams for Bluegill and Bass. In 1988 my wife (Tammy) and I moved to Colorado Springs and my interest turned from bass and bluegill to chasing trout with a fly rod across the western US. In 1994 I discovered fly fishing in Yellowstone National and have been going back to the Yellowstone area every year for 3-4 weeks each year.
